Wedding Day Emergency Kit
We’ve all had those nights when we were younger — or maybe last week — where you go out and have fun and wake up the next morning feeling not so fresh. Your “emergency kit” consisting of something like Advil, water, a bacon-egg-and-cheese bagel, a shower, another nap, and more Advil. Am I right? Well, think of this emergency kit as something similar but a more glammed up version.
You’ll want to take a tote bag and fill it up with some “just in case” items that can be real lifesavers on the big day. It truly is the little things in life that have the biggest impact, and you’d be surprised how much anxiety a tide pen and mini sewing kit can relieve.
So, here’s a list of items we recommend a bride and bridesmaid to have handy in an emergency kit for the wedding day:
Sewing kit (mini scissors and safety pins)
Tide to go pen or any similar stain remover wipe
Bobby pins and hair ties
Fashion tape
Breath mints
Band-Aids
Advil
Tampon
Nail polish that matches your mani/pedi in case it chips
Small brush
Hairspray
Extra comfy shoes for dancing
Travel size perfume to freshen up
Nail file
Travel size deodorant
Lip gloss or Chapstick
A snack for the hangry type
Dental floss
Tissues/Kleenexes
Handy copy of your vows
Tweezers
Better to be safe than sorry!
