Alden Castle: A Longwood Venue

Alden Castle is a historic Tudor-style wedding venue located in the heart of Brookline, Massachusetts. Its history is rich dating back to the 1920s. Originally a bar and nightclub called “The Last Resort”, the castle’s architecture reflects the roaring nightlife in Brookline during that time period. The castle hosted the likes of Red Sox General Manager, Eddie Collins and the famous Babe Ruth. Present day, the castle continues to receive prominent personalities like Hollywood celebrities and different sports teams. 

The castle features two distinct spaces for wedding celebrations, the Modern Club and Balcony, and the Vintage Ballroom and Mezzanine. Beautiful chandeliers illuminate the Vintage Ballroom for an enchanting experience any time of year and the smaller Modern Club with its 1920s gold tin ceiling and elegant dark columns is ideal for a more intimate affair.
